WHAT CAN AN LIVING ORGANIZED HELP ME WITH?

We assist individuals and companies in regaining control over their time, space, and paper.

WHAT KIND OF ORGANIZING SERVICES CAN I REQUEST?

Anything related to regaining CONTROL over your life -- organizing your paper, space, time, kids, office, home, business, simplifying your life and disorganization.

DO YOU BRING IN "ASSISTANTS" OR WORK ALONE?

I usually work by myself unless the job requires an extra organizer.

WHAT IF SUPPLIES OR ITEMS NEED TO BE PURCHASED?

If products such as office supplies or plastic containers etc. are needed, either the client can pick them up or part of Living Organized services is personal shopping in which we charge a fee. This $25 an hour fee is based on the amount of travel and the time it takes to purchase the products for you.

DO YOU RECOMMEND CERTAIN ORGANIZING PRODUCTS?

We recommend products only when we believe it is in the best interest of the client. Otherwise we try to utilize the products and tools that the client already has in place.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO BE ORGANIZED?

That really depends on how "challenging" your particular situation is and on client availability, their budgets and any deadlines that may be required. But the AVERAGE room in a home will take about 1-2 days, closets 3-6 hours and office space 3 days of work to complete. Just remember, it took you a long time to get disorganized, and it won't be fixed overnight. However, I will work as QUICKLY as possible to get your life back in order -- and to teach you how to keep it that way.

IS HIRING A PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZER EXPENSIVE?

After the initial consultation, we will have a sense of the budget required to help you achieve your goals. You may want Living Organized to REVIEW your situation and offer suggestions, and you will do the manual labor yourself. Or, you may want someone to come in and actually DO the work (set up the filing system, organize the garage, re-design your office files). We will provide whatever level of service is most helpful to you. We work within your budget as funds allow.

WHY DO ORGANIZERS CHARGE THE FEES THEY DO?

Organizing is a PROFESSIONAL service -- just like you would receive from an accountant or a artist. Organizers don't just come in and "clean up". It is much more involved than that. You are paying for their KNOWLEDGE, their ability to understand how you function, and develop a system that will work best for you.

HOW WILL MY ORGANIZER KNOW HOW TO HELP ME?

We will spend some time evaluating your situation before we begin working together - in the form of a CONSULTATION -- finding out what your concerns are, what you've tried in the past, what has worked, and what hasn't. Then we will develop an ACTION plan outlining the solutions and steps we will take to remedy the situation.

DO I HAVE TO THROW EVERYTHING OUT?

No, you are the only one who can throw things out. Only you can determine what items are of value to you- our job is to guide you through that decision process and offer alternate solutions for getting rid of those items you no longer need or use.
